St. Augustine of Hippo Catholic Church

As part of the Diocese of Plymouth, the parish of St Augustine is committed to the Diocesan Vision Statement where we are called to become more fully a celebrating, caring, learning and living church. As a parish we are above all a community of people called together by God to live out our Christian life of witness in the world.

St. John’s Methodist Church

A Grade ll* listed building, it is one of the largest early C19th chapels in the country. It features a plaster ceiling and fittings by the celebrated Cornish architect Silvanus Trevail.

Built in 1828, with its large seating capacity, it provides a venue for many functions in the town, as well as a worship centre for its own congregation. Each year, the Easter musical fills the church to capacity on Good Friday and Holy Saturday. It is also the centre for the popular St. Austell Music Festival.

Seymour Gospel Hall

We are a small company of believers, meeting together in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ here in St Austell, Cornwall. We would be very happy to welcome any visitors who would like to join us in fellowship.

Baptist Church

St Austell Baptist Church is a lively, family-oriented, Christian Fellowship near the centre of town. We believe that a loving God can and does transform willing lives by filling our hearts with His Spirit. In the 21st Century, Jesus Christ is still calling people, young and old, to become His disciples.

Holy Trinity Church

The Parish Church of St. Austell with its 90ft tower stands proudly at the top of Fore Street for everyone to admire. The eight bells in the tower still ring out across St. Austell reminding visitors of it's presence at the heart of the community. There is documentary evidence of a Church on the site before 1169 although the present building dates from the end of the 15th century. Adorned externally, with beautiful stained glass windows and sculptures, there are a number of interesting plaques commemorating the lives of people with local connections some of whom were prominent on a national scale. There is plenty of interest on the inside too, like the Norman Font and the Wagon roof with its beautiful carved bosses.

Mount Charles Methodist Church

Mount Charles is a busy Christian community, dedicated to serving Christ in our church and community and serving each other in friendship and love.
